Blacksburg, Virginia, January 17, 2007 - AVID LLC (http://www.avidaerospace.com), a leading research and development firm for unconventional concepts in aircraft design, announces its move to a new web address.

"We are aircraft design consultants with extensive expertise in unmanned vehicles, fan design, and modeling and simulation codes", stated Nanci Hardwick, AVID CFO. "We are very excited about our new web location which better represents the services and products we offer."

Previously located at www.avidllc.biz, the new web site address was chosen to facilitate easier identification of AVID LLC on the web and more accurately describe the company. The public can more readily recognize AVID LLC as an aerospace company with a specialty in objective design. New additions to the website are planned for next month, including new products and services. AVID LLC provides aircraft design consulting services and produces several aircraft design and analysis software tools. Providing aerodynamic design expertise and software support, AVID LLC serves military and commercial sectors. Current projects focus on unconventional concepts, unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), manned aircraft, fan blades, control vanes and wind turbines. Founded in 2001, AVID LLC has offices in Blacksburg and Yorktown, Virginia. Customers include Honeywell, Boeing, AAI, DARPA, NASA, DRS, Orbital Sciences, LMI, U.S. Army, and the U.S. Air Force.

Software design tools include AVID OAV for modeling and simulation of ducted fan vehicles, AVID ACS for modeling and simulation of fixed wing vehicles, AVID PAGE for rapid geometry definition, and AVID SPOT for evaluating sensor and aircraft performance.
