This premiere event will be held at the Inn of Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center on November 9th from 4:00-6:30 pm. The event is being sponsored by AVID LLC, Virginia Tech's College of Engineering and VPT, Inc. to promote awareness of the aerospace-related areas of expertise in Blacksburg.After a brief welcome to the event by AVID CFO Nanci Hardwick, Virginia Tech School of Engineering Dean Richard Benson and VPT President Dan Sable, attendees will have the opportunity to gain contacts with representatives from local companies in the aerospace industry as well as faculty from the Virginia Tech departments of Engineering Science and Mechanics, Mechanical, Electrical and Aerospace Engineering. "We're very excited to bring together leaders in numerous areas of innovation in the aerospace industry. This event is designed to facilitate partnerships on a local level and increase visibility of our collective capability to serve the research, development, and experimental needs of the aerospace industry," said Nanci Hardwick, AVID CFO.
