AVID Continues Community Contributions

PRESS RELEASE, June 9, 2005

AVID continues its commitment to surrounding communities! AVID employees have pledged over $5,000 to charities through the United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd. Employees supported nonprofit organizations which service the New River Valley and the Tidewater Region in Virginia.

Campaign Coordinator John Ohanian stated "The level of participation was overwhelming and encouraging. We gave employees the opportunity to support the community through paycheck deductions and over 75% of our staff took that opportunity."

AVID continues as a Gold Award Contributor for the 2004-2005 United Way year. Community support is a corporate value at AVID LLC.
