Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)AVID LLC Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) capability spans the range from linear theory methods to Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes solvers. We can provide computational analysis and design of configurations ranging from 2-D airfoils to fan / rotor blades to complete configuration analysis. Our linear theory tools are particularly well suited for the preliminary design environment, providing rapid turn-around of analyses of aircraft and ducted-fan configurations. Using the TetrUSS software system developed by NASA Langley, we can provide detailed internal and external flow analyses, including rotor and fan modeling. The USM3Dns flow solver provides us the capability to analyze configurations at speeds as low as 10-6 Mach number and inverse design capability using the CDISC method. © Copyright 2005, AVID LLC.
