Wind Turbine Design

AVID applies the concepts of aerodynamics to the design of wind turbine generator systems. An iterative process optimizes design, and our simulation tools allow for analysis of performance under alternate design conditions. AVID utilizes several tools considered an industry standard in turbine design. All designs and studies include assessing structural dynamics, and components such as generator size.

Testing of wind turbine designs may include monitoring factors including load, acoustics, and strength (static testing).
